From idealistically indifferent to conservative, idealistic, libertarian.

During my life I have not spent a lot of time thinking about polotics. I wrote a comment on my friend Phil’s blog detailing why.

Wine, Cheese & All That Jazz

I am always looking for an excuse to go to the beach. If you need a reason to go to the beach, this is a great one. Or maybe you need something to do with your Father.

The Rockaway Beach Chamber of Commerce is hosting a whole day of jazz, food, wine tasting, music and dancing. Saturday, June 14th, 2008, 11 AM to 11 PM.

Have Fun!

Ben Stein and Expelled the movie

June 1, 2008 · 10 Comments

Expelled the movie could be a great catalyst for this century.

Freedom of speech in the science room will have a huge impact on the future of America. Many people blame the “Dark Ages” on the church. Now we have evolutionists using the same limiting belief systems. I don’t think we are heading into a period of “Darkness”, but I can see America loosing it’s edge as a scientific community.

America is supposed to be the home of the free So, FIGHT FOR YOU RIGHT TO STUDY SCIENCE. Without the establishment limiting what your allowed to study.

What do you think?

How long will your kids be safe?

May 30, 2008 · 4 Comments

This is really disturbing. This link gives some of the basic information on this Colorado Senate Bill 200.

Think about some possible scenarios.

  • Your wife goes into the Ladies bathroom at the rest stop. There is a man in the bathroom “washing” his privates at the sink. You call 911 and they tell you he has the right to be there.
  • You’r daughter is taking a shower with the other girls from her gym class in the girls locker room when a boy comes in, undresses, and showers in front of her.
  • Your a wedding photographer. a homosexual couple asks you to photograph their nude wedding. You recommend another photographer and tell them your religion does not permit you to provide them the service there asking for. You go to jail for up to a year for refusing them service.

I’m tired of billionaires buying legislation to force their agenda on my family, community, and country.

Where is the church?

THE DREADED “UPDATE”

April 14, 2008 · 3 Comments

We are now living in Tualatin. We are still missing the missionary life but we are also enjoying some of the comforts of home. We are really enjoying being able to have friends and family over to our own place. (yes you can come over just call us and let us know when your coming)

Drew – I am working at Xerox as a day job and as a mortgage broker on the side. I’m going bald and not sure what else to say.

Christa -I am working a few hours a week at Old Navy and taking a cake decorating class. As we are learning about Tyler and how to communicate with him. We would appreciate any advise or suggestions on Parenting kids with Autism or Glutten free diets.

Amanda – is in first grade and mothering the whole house whenever she gets the chance.

Tyler – is wishing his cute little baby sister hadn’t started crawling and getting into his stuff but is very happy to hand her anything we have put out of her reach to protect her.

Leilani – is walking. She enjoys stealing the red ball from the trackball on our computer, changing the settings on the tv, and ejecting dvd’s while here brother and sister are trying to watch them. She is also still struggling with her potty training.
